Kelly Trevett qualified as a solicitor in 1998 in a busy practice in Enfield. During her career, Kelly has practised almost exclusively in family law and gained extensive experience in cases concerning divorce and relationship breakdown (including cohabitation splits) and their contingent challenges of dividing financial assets and deciding arrangements for the children. Kelly is also a long standing member of Resolution and is committed to their ethos of resolving family disputes in a constructive and respectful manner, taking into account the needs of the whole family.
Kelly joined Belinda Smith and Co. in June 2018 and balances very successfully life as a busy mother with the demands of a flourishing family law practice.
Lesley is a Chartered Legal Executive and started her training as a Legal Executive in 2006. She qualified as a fellow after completing her training in 2011. In May 2021 Lesley was promoted to Associate in recognition of her achievements and expertise.
Lesley deals with all matters concerning family law including divorce, separation, financial relief and domestic violence. She also deals with Change of Name Deeds, Statutory Declarations, and Affidavits for Marriage. Lesley also deals with all areas of Children’s Act matters such as contact and residence issues, child abduction and forced marriages. In addition she covers Children’s Act Public Law and Private Law. She has a dedicated and flexible approach with clients and will offer home visits where appropriate.
Lesley is a member of Resolution, as well as the Peterborough and District CILEx branch for Family Law and the Peterborough Family Law Group.
